Merry Christmas

We are off to West Point for a few days. This is his first trip away from home. We are excited about seeing everyone. When we get back home, he will get to meet his Aunt and Uncle and cousin Whitt. Matthew will get to meet so many new people over the next few days, which will be fun. He is still doing great..eating good, sleeping good, smiling a lot; he has even started rolling over some. I hope you enjoy the holidays and spending time with friends and family! Merry Christmas!

2 Months

Matthew had his 2 month check up today! He weighed 10 lbs (15th percentile), 22 inches long (10th percentile), and his head was 16 inches (50th percentile).

He has been doing great. He is sleeping about 6-7 hours at night, so I am getting some good sleep now. He is smiling a lot more and responds to my voice now. He is getting good at holding his head up too. When I put him on the Boppy, he all but jumps over it. He has strong legs! I think he works his legs more than his arms and head when he is on it...I am loving being home with him and am trying to enjoy every minute before I go back to work in January. Here are more pictures of him.

Go State

Matthew in his Bumbo seat sitting up "all by himself". He looks so cute in it.

Yes, I dressed Matthew out for the big game in any MS State apparel that he had. I guess it helped :)

6 weeks

Matthew is now about 6 and a half weeks!! He has come so far :) He is starting to smile now, which just melts our hearts when he does. He has also started Tummy Time, and we put him on the activity mat for him to play for a little while, which he loves. He is interacting more, which is a lot of fun! Here are more pictures. He got to meet his Great Grandparents (Mimi and Paw paw) last weekend. The picture of him in his crib is how I always find him when I go to get him. He starts off in the wedge and squirms his way down and turns sideways!! Too funny. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Eat lots of Turkey.

Family Visits

Matthew's Nana and Papa Bob have been so great this week. They have come over several times to cook dinner, visit, and stay with me while Paul was out of town. He had to go to Jackson for a few days this week. Thanks for all your help Nana and Papa Bob!

Matthew also had several visitors this weekend. His Uncle Gordon from Atlanta came for a visit, and his Gigi and Pops came from West Point for a visit. We enjoyed seeing everyone.

Happy Halloween!!

Here are some more pics of Matthew. For Halloween he was a wolf and a ghost. Yes, he had 2 costumes :) His Aunt Megan sent him a cute wolf outfit. I put it on him to surprise Paul this morning. We were both laughing so hard..too cute. Then I think he got hot, so we put the ghost onesie on him. We had fun dressing him up:) I hope everyone had a safe, fun Halloween.

Also, here is a picture of Matthew sleeping. He loves to stretch his arms out, and I love to watch him. He is so funny!

Pictures

Here are some more pictures of Matthew.

Matthew Hamlin Williston

Baby Matthew was born October 8. He weighed 7lbs. 5 oz. He and I are both doing great! Now it is 3 weeks later. We have gotten settled into a routine, as much as you can with a 3 week old! We are enjoying every minute of it (except when he cries ;) He, overall, is a very good baby. He is sleeping about 3-4 hours at night for now, which is great for mom! I will try to keep posting on the blog. I am new to it, so bear with me. Obviously it took me a while to get back to it, considering my last post was when I was 10 weeks pregnant!! I will try to do better and would love any tips from all you pro bloggers :)
