Trip to Arkansas

We made the long trip to Arkansas last weekend to meet our friends at Gene's Trout and Fishing Resort. We had a great time, and Matthew got to meet James Glass who was born the same day he was. They had a good time playing together. It was fun watching them. They would go towards each other with their mouths wide open ready to bite. I think they enjoyed having a friend to play with. Paul and Randall caught a lot of trout for us while Kim and I just hung out around the cabin and tried to entertain the boys. It was great to see you: Kim, Randall, and James :)

Home for the Summer :)

Well I am out for the summer. I am looking forward to being home for the next two months with Matthew. He is crawling all over the place now and standing up on everything. I can't get over how fast he is growing, it really makes me sad. We have been battling ear infections for the past 3 weeks now, and yesterday he came home with a virus. Hopefully, he will begin feeling better soon so we can enjoy the summer. Despite the fact that he has been sick, he is always smiling and happy. His smile just melts my heart.

Matthew trying to crawl

Here are some pictures of Matthew attempting to crawl. He is so funny; He keeps putting his head on the floor and pushing up as he moves his feet. It kind of makes me nervous that he is going to do a front flip. LOL..He also likes to lay on his side and "model"

He has his first tooth coming in and another on its way. I can't believe he is old enough for that yet :( They grow so fast. He is such a sweet boy, and we love him so much!

6 Months

I really can't believe Matthew is already 6 months!! He is trying to crawl so bad. He slides all over the floor, rocks back and forth, and rolls all around. He is also getting his first tooth :( His 6 month check up went well. He is still in 10 percentile for weight(15.6 lbs) and height(25 inches) and 75th for head. LOL. He is loving solid foods. So far sweet potatoes are his favorite.
I am getting so excited about the summer. I know we will have a great time.

Update

Garnett, Jarrod, and Ava Greear came down for a few days on Spring Break. We went to the zoo on Saturday and yes, Ava Greear is petting a snake!! Ava Greear had a grand time at the zoo and was amazed at all the animals. Matthew on the other hand was content in his stoller with his toys. We had fun though. Can't wait until our Spring Break next week!! We are still doing great. Matthew is sleeping through the night again, YAY!! I am loving the warmer weather and can't wait to start doing more outdoor things. Hope everyone has a great week!
